WDDA is a human-centered, community-driven, grassroots-modeled organization.
In order to thrive and provide accessible opportunities to disabled communities, we need ongoing support to make these aspirations successful, productive, and impactful. This is where you can help!
Volunteer
We have multiple projects/programs under development for multiple focuses and needs, including education, creative expression, access strategies, and scholarly research.
To launch these projects, we need diverse perspectives and experiences to make our activities inclusive, accessible, and diverse. Plus, a great benefit to joining our team is that we'll accommodate you to the best of our ability!
Similarly, if you're interested in launching a project or program with us, we're always open for inquiries! We're happy to discuss whether your proposal aligns with our mission, how we can support your success, and what the best timeline is for involved parties.
Features
Outreach will help us connect to disability allies and disabled community members that might benefit from our programs. By including us in interviews, podcasts, panels, blogs, social media, and any other media platform, not only are you supporting our operations, you are also supporting your audience members that have disabilities.

You may send us a general request for anyone that's available or specify an individual that you'd like to represent WDDA in your feature. Please be sure to send specific information about the activity, and we can confirm whether we have the capability* to fulfill your request.

Donate
Our goal with raising money is to fund scholarships, internships, staff positions, and other opportunities for disabled communities. Your monetary contributions will help us increase economic equity for people with disabilities in our organization.
